Business IT support on the Central Coast

Practical, responsive IT help for small offices, trades and practices. When email stops working, the network drops out or a new staff member needs a computer, you call one person who knows your setup.

Support is on-site at your business or remote, whichever gets you working again sooner.

Fully insured. You deal directly with the owner, Miles, from first call to finished job.

What I look after

Everyday technology for businesses that don’t have their own IT department.

  • Small business computer support

Troubleshooting staff computers and laptops, fixing errors and slowdowns, and keeping machines updated and secure.
  • Microsoft 365 and email

Email migrations, Outlook problems, Teams and OneDrive, plus adding and removing users and licences in Microsoft 365.
  • Business Wi-Fi and networking

Reliable Wi-Fi coverage, routers, firewalls and switching, and network audits to find out why things keep dropping out.
  • Printers and scanners

Shared office printers, scanning to email or folders, and getting every computer printing to the right device.
  • Computer setup and migrations

New computers set up and ready to use, with files, email and programs moved across from the old ones.
  • Backups and data protection

Setting up cloud backups and checking they actually run, so an outage or failed drive doesn’t mean lost work.
  • Security

Security assessments, email protection and practical staff training on scams and phishing.
  • Remote troubleshooting

Many problems can be fixed remotely using secure remote access software, without waiting for a visit.

How I work with businesses

  • One point of contact

You deal directly with me, not a call centre or a rotating team, so there’s no explaining your setup from scratch each time.

  • Help when you need it

Call for a one-off problem or bring me in regularly for ongoing jobs. Either way it’s billed by the hour.

  • Plain-English advice

Clear explanations of what’s wrong and what it will cost to fix, so you can make sensible decisions for your business.

Areas I cover

I’m based in Umina Beach and provide business IT support across the Central Coast, including Umina Beach, Woy Woy, Ettalong Beach, Gosford, Erina, Terrigal, Kincumber, Tuggerah and Wyong. I also work with customers in Newcastle, the Hunter and North Sydney.

There’s no shopfront: I come to your home or business, or help remotely when that’s quicker. Remote support is available Australia-wide.

Common questions

What size businesses do you work with?
I work with businesses of all sizes across the Central Coast, and I’m especially well suited to small businesses that don’t have their own IT staff.
Can you help with Microsoft 365?
Yes, including email migrations, Teams, OneDrive and managing users and licences, as well as fixing day-to-day Outlook and email problems.
How is business IT support charged?
Business IT support is $175 an hour. On-site visits have a $60 call-out fee, credited towards your first hour. See the pricing page for details.
Do you need to come on-site?
Not always. Many problems can be fixed remotely. Network, printer and hardware issues are usually quicker to sort out in person.
